‘I am free’ A4 print, limited edition.
This beautiful piece was inspired through a healing phase in the artists life following a turbulent period over the lockdown years. It depicts a young girl breathing in the glorious scent from on a bed of peonies, while the suns rays warm her skin. She is running her fingers through her flowing hair whilst looking up to the sky as wild birds soar high. It looks to capture the divine feminine through the female form and exude a sense of female empowerment, liberty and independence.
This is a limited edition lino print with only 200 prints in the edition. Each one is numbered, titled and signed by the artist.
This A4 print features an original illustration by Rosie Lavis (@thewildprintstudio) which was hand carved onto lino. The carving took in excess of 30 hours to complete. Each print is hand burnished onto lightweight, high quality Japanese hosho paper, in a choice of ‘Process Blue (Cyan)’ oil based ink or black oil based ink.
The whole piece is A4 sized (29.7 cmx 21cm) and the image size is approximately 24.7cm x 17cm
The listing is for an unframed lino print and the print will be posted to you double backed with card and safely packaged in a biodegradable cellophane slip, ready to frame or to give as a gift.
